My Personal Story
“When I first started, I had no idea it would change my life.”
My passion for movement began in New Jersey, where I started classical ballet at four years old. While in high school, I trained on a professional track, but a meniscus injury abruptly ended that career pathway. Shortly after college, I experienced a traumatic loss and struggled with my health until I was ultimately diagnosed with Lupus years later.
One fateful day in 2012, I walked into a yoga studio after work. I signed up for class just wanting to move my body, but the experience was life-changing, to say the least. Since then, I’ve competed in US and international championships and spent years honing my practice. In 2019, I completed my 300hr YTT at Lighthouse Yoga School in Manhattan, NY, and now teach private classes with clients.
I genuinely believe in the mind-body benefits of yoga. It’s helped me overcome mental and emotional struggles and supports me in maintaining my best physical health while managing lupus. Today, I live to share it with you — through teaching, education, and content.
